Diversity of Worship
We know there is diversity of worship to God in churches across the world and at the Net we acknowledge it is not the method or style that counts with God, but the heart of which worship is submitted to Him. Praise and worship is not about us, but about our Lord, Jesus Christ. However at the Net we want to accept and embrace the various styles of worship submitted in the right spirit to God.
Our goal in promoting acceptance of preference styles of worship will be found in three major areas: Traditional, Gospel and Contemporary styles. Choose your preference of worship and then come together around one message of God’s Word.
Traditional – Hymns, classic church songs, soft music
Gospel – Soul music, deliverance
Contemporary – Cutting edge style, excitement, loud
We sing with all our heart because:
In the Bible we read, “Sing for joy to the Lord, all the earth; praise Him with songs and shouts of joy.” Psalm 98:4
We lift our hands in praise because:
In the Bible we read, “Raise your hands in the Temple, and praise the Lord!” Psalm 134:2
We play musical instruments because:
In the Bible we read, “David and all the Israelites were dancing and singing with all their might to honor the Lord. They were playing harps, lyres, drums, rattles and cymbals.” 2 Samuel 6:5
We clap our hands and shout unto God because:
In the Bible we read, “Clap your hands for joy, all people! Praise God with loud songs!”
Psalm 47:1
We dance before the Lord because:
In the Bible we read, “Praise Him with drums and dancing. Praise Him with harps and flutes.” Psalm 150:4
We pray together aloud because:
In the Bible we read, “When the believers heard it, they all joined together in prayer to God;…”
Acts 4:24
